Carolina Mountain Emergency Medicine is currently seeking applicants for a full time Emergency Medicine physician at Angel Medical Center in Franklin, NC. Franklin is a picturesque town located about an hour west of Asheville. The town is situated on a limited access highway about halfway between Asheville and Atlanta. Home to about 3600 residents Franklin hosts many visitors as well, particularly in the spring, summer, and fall months. Patients are currently being seen at a rate of approximately 16,000 per year. The EM physicians at Angel are active members of the Medical Staff. They are employees of Carolina Mountain Emergency Medicine, a premier private mid-sized Emergency Medicine group based in Asheville, NC offering employment with an option for profit sharing as well as other benefits. The Franklin contract
is currently the only contract held by CMEM other than their flagship contract in Asheville. The EM staff at Angel has been quite stable during the several years that CMEM has held the contract. CMEM enjoys a good relationship with the EM physicians at Angel and with the Angel Hospital administration. Primary care or BCEM/ABEM/AOBEM board certification or preparation required. Franklin, North Carolina, is a quaint mountain town nestled in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. The town is surrounded by beautiful mountains, lakes, streams, hills and valleys.
